Originally a farmhouse on Via Galileo Ferraris, surrounded by greenery, the building dates from 1870, once on Milan’s outskirts. Over time the space served as a workshop, then a laboratory, before being abandoned. A team of architects led by Andrea Borri Architetti undertook its restoration, preserving its original structure and using materials like brick and iron. Today, Locanda Officina Monumentale (LOM) is a dynamic hub for co-working, events and a cocktail bar, championing craftsmanship, research and sustainable design.
